I was shocked to learn via my Twitter feed that Anja Niedringhaus was shot dead today at an Afghanistan checkpoint. Besides her award winning photography I will remember Anja for her indelibly good humored and tanactic spirit – even in tragic circumstances. My condolences go out to her family and friends – Anja portrays how I feel right now with her photograph: I will miss you Anja, thank you for the many joyous moments you brought to me – May you Rest In Peace – Kitty.
It never ceases to amaze me, how scams like the Nigerian scam, survive for so long. It is hard to believe that people still fall for these scams – even ones that have been around and re-hashed for over a decade.
