Aussie girls to compete in World Bobsleigh Championships

Brisbane Veterinary surgeon, Astrid Radjenovic will pilot her bobsleigh early Saturday morning ( Brisbane time) in the first 2 of 4 runs in the World Championships of this exciting sport. The contest will take place on the Mt Hoevenberg track in Lake Placid, New York State. Astrid is pictured ( foreground) with brakewoman Ebony Gorincu at the start of a recent World Cup Race in Altenberg, Germany, in which she was placed 9th, the best ever result by an Australian bobsled.
